New in Sharetribe Docs: AI assistant and MCP server

Ask the Docs AI a question and get an answer that's pulled directly from the docs. There's also an MCP server that lets you connect Cursor, VS Code, Claude Code, and others directly to our documentation.

The Sharetribe Developer Docs cover everything from our APIs to building custom features. We've added two tools to them to make development even easier: an AI assistant and a documentation MCP server.

Docs AI assistant

Ask about the APIs, the web template, Console settings, or how to build a specific transaction flow. The assistant has access to every knowledge source in our docs and pulls reliable answers straight from them. Try the Docs assistant.

Documentation MCP server

The MCP server is an extension of the Docs AI assistant. It connects AI tools like Cursor, VS Code, or Claude Code directly to our documentation so you can get answers without leaving your editor.Ā 

To get started, open theĀ assistant chat widget and click "Use MCP", and itā€™ll show shortcuts for the most common tools. You can find full setup instructions Cursor, VS Code, Claude Code, Claude Desktop, ChatGPT Desktop, and others in theĀ Build with AI guide.
