* Payment gateway fees apply. Sharetribe uses PayPal as its payment gateway. The size of the fee depends on your country and sales volume, and is usually around 3%-4%.
We provide hosting for your marketplace and take care of all technical issues. When we release new features, your marketplace is automatically updated. Just sit back and relax.
Using your own domain and outgoing email address is only available with a paid subscription.
Currency is USD (U.S. Dollar).
Prices do not include VAT. If you are an individual in the EU or a company in Finland, the VAT of your country will be added to the price. In other cases, paying VAT is not necessary.

Who counts as a user?Anyone can browse your marketplace without having to create a user account. However, in order to buy or sell something, a user account needs to be created.
What does "own domain" mean?By default, the address of your marketplace is "yourmarketplace.sharetribe.com". However, you may use your own domain (www.yourdomain.com) instead. This feature is available in all our paid plans except for "Hobby".
What happens if I want to leave?If you are not satisfied with Sharetribe, you are free to leave at any point. We will export all your data for you along with instructions on how set up Sharetribe on your own server. We don't believe in lock-in.
