Automate tasks and workflows with new Zapier templates

With Sharetribe's Zapier integration, you can automate repetitive tasks and workflows without coding. Connect your marketplace to thousands of third-party apps by building Zapier automations, also known as Zaps, and streamline admin tasks and add new functionality for your users.

Approve users or give permissions based on user type

With Sharetribe’s access control functionality, you can approve or give permissions like posting or transaction rights to specific users only. And with help from Zapier, you can streamline user onboarding and automate user approval or granting permissions based on user type, such as provider or customer. 

For example, you might want to:

• Auto-approve all customers while manually reviewing providers to guarantee high-quality supply. This creates a smoother onboarding experience for customers while maintaining quality control where it matters most.
• Automatically give providers the permission to post listings while not giving it to customers. 

This Zap triggers when a new user signs up and automatically grants approval or permissions (viewing listings, posting listings, or initiating transactions) based on user type. 
 

Limit marketplace access by email domain

A great addition to exclusive or internal marketplaces: you can automatically approve users depending on their email domain.

For example, you could create a marketplace for: 

• University students and only approve university email addresses
• Employees of a specific company by filtering by a corporate domain.

This Zap triggers when a new user signs up. It checks their email against your approved domain and grants access automatically if there's a match.
 

Send providers an email reminder to add payout details

If you allow providers to publish listings before adding their payout details, it’s important to make sure they don't forget to do it later. After all, they can’t accept payments before they’ve added payout details. (Learn more about why you should (or shouldn’t) require payout details upfront.) 

The Zap triggers when a new listing is created. Three days after listing publication, it sends an email reminder if the provider hasn’t added their payout details yet.
