In October 2026, Sharetribe introduced two major pricing changes:
Sharetribe now offers only two plans, Build ($39/month) and Live ($259/month or $199/month when paid annually) instead of four (Build, Lite, Pro, Extend)
Additional usage fees will be based on the use of Sharetribe's APIs and infrastructure instead of the number of transactions.

Build plan
The pricing change will not affect your monthly subscription plan. The new usage-based pricing will apply to you from December onwards if you exceed the 1M credits/month included all subscription plans.
You can upgrade to the Live plan to launch your marketplace at any time. If you upgrade to Live before December, you’ll also move over to the new usage-based pricing.
Lite plan
The pricing change will not affect your monthly subscription plan. The new usage-based pricing will apply to you from December onwards if you exceed the 1M credits/month included all subscription plans.
Unless you choose to upgrade to the new Live plan, you can remain on the legacy Lite plan for as long as you’re subscribed to Sharetribe and don’t make changes to your subscription.
Pro plan
The new usage-based pricing will apply to you from December onwards if you exceed the 1M credits/month included all subscription plans.
Your base plan price will not change: the Live plan has the same price as the Pro plan, but more features, as it lets you customize your marketplace with code.
Extend plan
The new usage-based pricing will apply to you from December onwards if you exceed the 1M credits/month included all subscription plans. In December, your base plan price will decrease from $389 to $259 (monthly billing) or from $299 to $199 (yearly billing) and you’ll move to the new-usage based pricing. Until then, your old plan and transaction-based pricing is in effect, unless you choose to move to the new pricing earlier.
Hold plan customers
Your base plan price will not change and will continue at $49/month. The new usage-based pricing will apply from December onwards, the same as for the other plans. You can also restart your marketplace with the new Live plan before that, at which point the new-usage based pricing applies.
Timeline for existing customers
The new pricing was introduced on October 1, 2026. Customers who subscribed before this date will stay on the legacy pricing until December 1, 2026. At that point, usage-based pricing applies to all customers. Pro and Extend customers will be switched over to the new Live plan.
December usage above 1M credits will be billed in January 2027.
You can already switch to the Live plan and usage-based pricing by contacting us. You can also subscribe to a credit commitment once you’ve switched to the Live plan.
