What fonts are used

Default fonts

The operating system of the device used to access your marketplace determines the font used. Mac OS devices will see the OS system font "SF Pro". Learn more about SF Pro from Apple's website.

All other operating systems will use "Inter". Learn more about Inter from it creator's website.

Fallback fonts

If the default font cannot load for some reason, fallback fonts are used to ensure that content renders properly. Fallback fonts are Helvetica and Arial.

Where are the fonts hosted

The fonts used in Sharetribe-hosted marketplaces are hosted on Sharetribe's services.

We are not using a third-party service (such as Google Fonts) to host them, so this does not have to be mentioned specifically in your Privacy policy or Terms of use.

How to change fonts

Fonts can be changed with custom coding. To use a custom font, you will need to host your own codebase and modify it to use a different font. Learn more about changing the font and style using code in our developer documentation.

As always, using custom coding on Sharetribe requires transitioning to custom code mode. This includes hosting your own codebase, upgrading to the Extend plan, and modifying your testing workflow. Learn more on how to transition to custom code mode.
