Empavision is an AI-powered operations platform built for Sharetribe marketplaces. It brings your marketplace data, support investigations, bulk listing tools and automations together in one dashboard that sits alongside Sharetribe Console.
Empavision connects to your marketplace and keeps your users, listings and transactions in sync. You can ask questions about your data in plain natural language, investigate support requests from your users, bulk-create listings, and set up automated emails and workflows without building any of this yourself.
If you spend a lot of time digging through the Sharetribe Console to analyze your marketplace data or keep your listings up to date, Empavision gives you additional capabilities to find the answer efficiently and act on it.
How Empavision works with Sharetribe
Empavision connects to your marketplace using the Sharetribe Integration API. It syncs your users, listings, transactions and messages in the background and checks for changes every 30 minutes, or when you click Refresh. If you connect Stripe, Empavision also reads your payment data.
Syncing uses your Integration API credits: about 1,500 change checks a month for each connected environment, plus one read per changed record and a one-time initial import.
Your Sharetribe marketplace remains the source of truth for all your data. You still manage your core marketplace setup, such as your transaction process, listing fields and pricing, in Sharetribe Console.
Empavision doesn't change anything in your marketplace or move money in Stripe until you approve it, for example by approving a fix suggested in a support case report or by turning on an automation. Every change is logged, and you can undo changes to individual fields in one click. Refunds, transaction steps and sent emails can't be undone, and Empavision tells you this before you confirm.
If you delete the connection in Empavision, it stops syncing within a minute, and you can choose whether it also deletes its copy of your marketplace data. You can also remove Empavision's access at any time by deleting its application in Sharetribe Console.
Empavision's operator tools, like the dashboard, AI Copilot, support cases and automations, don't require any changes to your marketplace code.
What you can do with Empavision
See your marketplace at a glance. The dashboard and analytics show your users, listings, transactions, reviews and messages, and flag anything waiting for approval. You can also search your marketplace data and export it as a CSV or Excel file.
Ask questions about your data. Type a question in plain language into AI Copilot, such as "Show me my top 5 sellers by transaction count", or run a guided check like a listing health check.
Investigate support requests. Paste a request from one of your users, such as "Why can't my listing be booked?", exactly as you received it with screenshots included. Empavision checks the accounts, transactions and payment data involved and writes a report with the answer and a recommended fix.
Spot scams and deals taken off the platform. Empavision scans new messages and listings for contact details, payment handles and requests to move the conversation elsewhere, and flags brand-new accounts that open many conversations within minutes, a common scam pattern. You get the flags in a daily summary, and you decide what to do; Empavision never blocks or bans anyone on its own.
Bulk-import listings. Use Listing Forge to upload a CSV or fill in a template based on your listing fields. AI can fill in missing fields and improve descriptions.
Automate your operations. Moderate listings in bulk in the Operations, and set up automations such as a reminder to providers whose listings haven't been updated in 30 days.
How to take Empavision into use
Sign up for Empavision and confirm your email address, then connect your Sharetribe marketplace. Connecting takes about 2 minutes. Empavision offers a 7-day free trial, and you don't need a credit card to start.
To connect, you'll need three values from Sharetribe Console: the Client ID of your marketplace's Marketplace API application (you don't need its secret), and the Client ID and Client secret of a new Integration API application.
Navigate to Build > Advanced > Applications.
Copy the Client ID of the 'Marketplace API' application.
Click '+ Add a new application'.
Give the application a descriptive name (like "Empavision") and select 'Integration API'.
Click 'Add application'.
Important: Copy the Client ID and Client secret to a safe place, like a password manager. You won't be able to see the Client secret again in Console. If you lose it, you'll need to create a new application.
Paste the three values into Empavision when prompted.
Once connected, Empavision syncs your marketplace data. Preparing your listings for AI search can take a while, depending on how many listings you have. You can follow the progress on the Listings page.
Once your data has synced, you can:
Review your dashboard to see what needs your attention, such as users or listings awaiting approval.
Ask AI Copilot a question about your marketplace, or paste a support request into Support cases.
Set up your first automation, for example a reminder to providers whose listings haven't been updated in a while.
