Users are unable to update their profile page

We’re currently experiencing a problem where users can’t update their profile page. It worked fine for the first 18 months and the issue only started about 2 months ago.

On their profile page, users are able to click the ‘Edit profile’ button and then edit their profile information. When they click the ‘Save information’ button, it redirects them to the home page but their profile page changes aren’t saved.

I have experienced the problem myself with my own account. We’ve had about 10 different people email us reporting the same issue.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue or can provide some ideas of what might be wrong?

I’m not familiar with that behavior.

Is there anything in your logs that explains what’s happening?

You’ve mentioned that it suddenly stopped working. What changes did you make at that time?

I ran into this as well but it started working again after 2-3 days…not sure what it was. Is this what you are seeing from your users? 54%20AM

Thanks for taking the time to respond, I appreciate it. Your question about what changes we made at the time prompted me to go back and it gave me a clue!

I’ve noticed the profile page saves successfully when I don’t include a location, but it doesn’t save if I do include a location. In the month prior to when the issue was first identified, we had implemented two new features: a country filter and a location search. I am pretty sure one of these two location related features is causing the issue.

I have asked my developer to investigate. Will let you know how I go!
