Has anyone built a Hybrid Mobile App for ST yet? We are starting to investigate using React.js and Cordova to wrap ST and deploy an app to Android and iOS…this is based the architecture approach outlined by 37signals. I would be interested in others views on an approach.

Late response here but the company I work for has just started to build out a app for our website built off of sharetribe. Basically what we have done is build out an API for sharetribe and are using Cordova/Ionic.

So we also built out an API and are using React Native for our mobile app…hopefully we will have something downloadable in the next 4-6 weeks…been slow going

You could avoid using a mobile app completely. As ST is mobile friendly you can setup some frames within both xcode and google code and treat them as built in web browsers. This means when people click on your app, the are actually being redirected to your st website without the need to construct an expensive and time consuming mobile application.

You can’t rely on a wrapper, while it might work in android on iOS you might be unable to uplaod on the applle store once you go through the approval process.

We have started building an API, now we have endpoints to get all tables and planning to extned, our API is based on Node.js. We will be glad to cooperate to build the an Ionic/Cordova app
