Stripe has made updates to Connect that require technical changes to our integration and onboarding flows. It’s important to update our integration in the correct order to ensure the changes function correctly, and there is no impact on our users and also platform (incl. stripe-integration) works properly. Stripe recommends implementing these changes with Connect Onboarding, which enables Stripe to assist you in collecting identity information from our connected accounts. According. to Stripe if we choose not to use Connect Onboarding, we will be required to implement the identity verification user flows with this update. It should definitely be avoided.
