How would I go about adjusting the payment workflow to include the shipping price into fees? We are trying to adjust it to include the shipping price so we can avoid people trying to reduce the cost of the product but increase the cost of shipping. Any ideas on how we can achieve this?

Could you add new listing field shipping costs and make it mandatory? Or could you create new order type and enable Allow sellers to define a shipping fee?
From first glance, it’s looking to me that there are several ways how to do it without any need of going open source.

We’re actually already deployed on Community Go, so we don’t have any issues modifying code. We have shipping fees already enabled, however, store commission does not take from that, and only takes it out of the item cost.
Any ideas? As noted, transaction fees only take out of item cost and not out of shipping cost currently. We’d like to calculate transaction fee from the total of both instead of just the item cost.
We’d be willing to hire someone who is familiar with the sharetribe go code base and stripe connect API to help accomplish this. Any help would be appreciated!

We are having the same issue here. Users have figured out that we do not charge commission on shipping fees so they are listing items at a low price with large shipping fees.
Has anyone come up with a solution for this? Thanks - Susan
