We add currency selection.

  • Sellers can set their own default currency.
  • Sellers can set the currency of an individual listing.
  • Users can select the currency they want to view a listing in.
  • Exchange rates are pulled from an exchange rate service.

We added Rich Text Editing on the Description field in listings. We incorporated the CKEditor.

And we added the ability to add GPX files directly to our listings. Making the Map more interactive for our bike rides and displaying listings nearby automatically on the map.

We added the ability for Admins to transfer listings to an existing user or a new user. We are finding this useful for on-boarding suppliers to the marketplace.

We have added Destination pages for our site. But this is slowly turning into the basic CMS stuff you would expect in Wordpress or Drupal, where we can define a page, put it in a hierarchy, and then create content for that page. Limited at the moment by the page template but with a bit more work could become a bit more generic.

We added blog page to our site, which will allow us to get rid of our external blog on Wordpress. It basically takes listings of Category = Blog and displays them as a blog roll, organised by Sub-Category.
