Yes you are right, I agree with you.
I’m interested in talking w/ a developer that has had experience in creating a reverse transaction or a reverse marketplace with Sharetribe.
By reverse transaction I mean: User A posts. User B accepts post. User A pays User B.
Currently, sharetribe doesn’t support reverse marketplaces on it’s platform.

User A posts an advertisement
User B posts an offering
User B writes to User A with his listing URL
User A makes a reservation on User B’s listing

I’ve got a running instance on digital ocean and I’ve got a few bugs I’m looking to have someone help me with as well as implement location based search.
Issues are currently: 1) Logging in with chrome using HTTPs (using apache and reverse proxy) and 2) getting a dead page content with no errors when attempting to post a listing using other browsers.

In hosted version of sharetribe, there are certain limitations. even on the front end you can only customize a limited part of you website’s look and feel. and you can not add any extra functionality to your site of your choice. like another payment gateway except stripe or a stunning homepage of your own choice.
